Almost every tool in this market hands you a better blank box. A dashboard, a suggestion, maybe a template — and then it waits for you to write the reply, read it, and post it. It has quietly moved the work from 'think of what to say' to 'remember to log in', which for a café owner running a lunch service is not much of a rescue.
The hard part of answering reviews was never one reply. It is the forever-ness. A review lands on a Tuesday you were three staff down; another during a fortnight you did not open the laptop once. The job is not writing — it is writing every time, in a steady voice, for years, without it ever slipping. That is precisely the kind of job a person should not be doing by hand.
What we do instead
You sign in with Google once. From then on, every new review is answered for you — written in your café's own voice, anchored to what the reviewer actually wrote, and published automatically. No dashboard to open, nothing to paste, nothing to remember. The moment you sign in we also answer your most recent review as a welcome, so you see it work before anything else happens.
The obvious worry
Automatic publishing sounds alarming until you ask what could actually go wrong, and then you can name it: a reply that admits fault on your behalf, promises a refund in your name, argues with the reviewer, or says something about them they never said. So every reply clears a fixed gate — tone, law-awareness, and the things a public reply should never say — before it goes live. Nothing that fails the gate is published. You are not approving each one; the check is, on every single reply, without getting tired.
What it costs
Your first ten replies are free, so you judge the writing before you pay a penny. After that it is a flat £29 a month for one café — every new review answered, however many arrive, with no monthly cap. Run more than one site and each branch is its own £29. Cancel any time, and switch it off any time; there is no lock-in and nothing to unlearn.
For the avoidance of doubt about who is writing this: we are the people who read 14,130 Google review replies from 914 UK cafés to build the checks every reply is written against. The measuring is done there. Autopilot is just what we do with it.
