——— in for breakfast, staff were very friendly and service was reasonably quick, the food its self was a let down unfortunately, I got the mini breakfast, the bacon was overcooked, the poached egg was undercooked, the beans were cold, the sourdough toast had a viniger taste and I appreciate that some people may like the sausage but for me the taste was not something I enjoyed and full of oil, real shame as it looked very appealing on the plate, wouldn't go back unfortunately

The breakfast plate getting a mixed reception is always worth hearing. ——— and a poached egg have a fairly narrow window — one wants heat held long enough, the other doesn't — and cold beans alongside suggests the timing came apart somewhere. The sourdough note is interesting; a good loaf does carry acidity, though there's a line between character and distraction. Glad the team made the visit itself easy.
