Restaurant review response examples
A straight answer first: the 14,130 replies we read were published by UK cafés and coffee shops, not restaurants. We say so because the numbers on this page are counted, not estimated, and we are not going to widen a measurement we did not take. What carries across is the complaint itself — a cold plate, a forty-minute wait, an order that came back wrong, a server who was short with a table. Those arrive at a restaurant in the same words, and the reply fails in the same ways.
The complaints a restaurant shares with a café
Each page below is one complaint, with real reviews, the reply published underneath each one today, and the reply our software writes for the same review. The percentage is how many of the published replies break at least one of the checks we run — admitting fault, promising compensation, pulling the customer off the platform, or blaming them.
What we do with them
We do not hand you a draft to paste. You connect your Google profile; from then on every new review is answered in your own voice, put through three main and fourteen sub-checks for legal exposure, brand voice and Google's own ranking signals, and published from your account automatically — no approval queue, because the control is in the checks, not in a button. Each published reply is logged with its Google timestamp, so you can show what went out and when.
