The food and coffee here are quite expensive, but the basic standards of cleanliness do not match the prices. We spent an hour at the cafe, and throughout our entire visit, the restrooms were in poor condition. A waiter even went in a couple of times but did nothing to fix the issues. ​One stall had no toilet paper, the other had no hand soap, and there were no hand towels in either. On top of that, the bins in both stalls were completely overflowing. ——— what this place charges, essential hygiene and proper maintenance should be a given.

what we would have written

——— in the bathrooms isn't something we treat as optional, and restocking paper, soap and the bins is a regular part of the shift — not something that should wait. We're sorry the visit fell short on that front. The point about a staff member going in without acting on it is noted, and not something we'd wave away.
