Sandwiches not great. But no fresh tomatoes on BLT and cheap white bun. Mango smoothie is mango juice from a box with a lot of icecubes. Also one of the group ordered a sandwich but they made BLT. But because it's "on the ticket" could swap it anymore. Poor service and poor menu
Sorry you’ve not enjoyed your experience! We use sun blush tomatoes on the BLT, we have lots of fresh tomatoes ‘in stock’ so next time if you’d prefer fresh tomatoes just ask. Not sure what you mean about the sandwich ordered by the group, but always happy to accommodate requests. And, yes, we use Ice in the smoothie. ——— me directly ——— if you’d like to pop back for lunch on us. Oh, just one more thing: as an independent business times are really tough. Next time you’re not happy in an independent cafe perhaps just telling them either by email or in person will help them get it right next time. Taking the time to write a bad review is so unhelpful for our sector. We are real people and we really care.
A BLT should have fresh tomatoes — that is not a matter of interpretation. On the smoothie, if it is made from fresh fruit it reads and tastes differently from boxed juice; that distinction matters and we know it. On the wrong sandwich: if the ticket shows one thing and the kitchen made another, the ticket is wrong and the swap should happen. That is a straightforward call.
