Bought 4 bath buns to bring home from here yesterday. I discovered they were hard as rocks and stale upon arriving back to my car 20 mins later! ——— have sold them to me so stale! ——— robbed me of a little over £15! ——— service from staff! Couldn't return as my car park had ran out.

Hi ———, we're very sorry to read this. If the buns you purchased were stale, they certainly shouldn't have been sold, and we sincerely, ——— your experience. We'd really like the opportunity to put this right. Please email us at ——— with the approximate time and day of your purchase and the exact amount of the card transaction (as shown on your banking app or card statement). That will allow us to locate the transaction and arrange a full refund. We take feedback like this very seriously and will also be reminding our team to check all products carefully before they're sold, especially during this spell of exceptionally hot weather. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

what we would have written

——— buns should be soft enough to pull apart — that is simply what they are. We wouldn't sell something we weren't happy with, and if something wasn't right at the counter, we'd want to know then and there.
