Replying to reviews about dogs, prams and access

We read every Google review reply published by 423 UK cafés — 79 of them mention dogs, prams and access. Below is what those replies actually do, then real examples: the review, the reply published underneath it today, and the reply our software writes for the same review. Business names, email addresses and people's names are removed. Nothing here is invented.

Most of these are positive, and the reply is usually a wasted thank-you. A sentence about what the space actually allows is worth more to the next reader than gratitude is.

——— even get in through the doors and a 6ft guy with black hair and a stinking attitude (the host) shooed me outside like I was a dog trying to steal food and then I asked him why i needed to stand outside and he said (cause I said so) I was shocked I can't believe how rude he was absolutely ****

That's a poor experience to have before you've even sat down, and the manner you're describing — "because I said so" — isn't something we'd expect from anyone on the door. ——— or holding space outside can be necessary, but the reason for it should always be given plainly and without attitude.

the review★★★

Quick meal for two, daughter had the Birria Tacos and they were really nice but I had the vegan burger, and it tasted like it had been microwaved for too long and had turned into something resembling (and maybe even tasting like) a dog biscuit. I'm impressed with the setup overall and will go again, and try something else. If better will review again more favourably.

The birria tacos are a good call. The vegan burger should have the same care — texture like that isn't right, and we're particular about how things come off the kitchen. Worth trying something else on the menu next visit; there's more there that holds up well.
