First visit to this coffee shop today and not impressed. I ordered a latte and a pain au chocolate, and was served with a burnt dried up croissant which cost £3.80. I was in two minds to take it back but didn’t. I won’t be coming back.

Nearly a third of these reviews single out a barista — by role, often by name. Six per cent of the replies mention a person back. When a customer has told you who made their morning, a reply that thanks "the team" has answered somebody else.

——— coffee shop, the staff seems disinterested and food is just okayish. We had the flat white and scone. Nothing great to write about.

Thanks for coming in. A flat white and a scone should both be worth writing about — that is the bar we hold them to.
