Half of these are not complaints at all — they are descriptions of a room doing what it was built to do. A reply that apologises for the atmosphere apologises for the business.

Nice vegan options, coffee was too acidic for us (even for my partner who loves acidic coffee), was very loud and busy but it was around midday on a Saturday. Started getting really nauseous after eating it so a bit concerned the food here was the cause, but can’t be 100% sure.

Sorry to hear you felt unwell, that’s never the news we want to hear. ——— you ate the foul mudammas dish which contains garlic, beans & quite a few spices, so it could be down to that. ——— nausea immediately after food is down to intolerances or sensitivities, as opposed to poisoning which takes a lot longer to subside. Our food is all made fresh & nothing is ever left in the fridge for more than 2 days as max, so I can assure you it’s all good on our side. I hope you’re feeling better anyways. If you’re not, please get in touch - ———

The midday Saturday rush is what it is — we're not a quiet room at that hour. On the coffee, acidity is a matter of roast and origin, and ours sits where it sits on purpose; that said, if it read as sharp rather than bright, that's worth knowing. The nausea we can't speak to without knowing more, but we don't take that lightly.

majority of the staff were accommodating however some came across as quite rude. atmosphere was not good! ——— was quiet and not a nice lay out.The service was quite slow, didn’t feel like we got our money’s worth. We was sat bang next to the door and was freezing. Would not recommend!

——— ———, Please contact us via email: ——— to discuss your visit. ——— is adjusted for the benefit of the majority of guests so if the majority are warm due to recent hot weather the air con will be on & the door left open a crack to create a gentle breeze. If that’s not to your taste then it’s on you to speak up. ——— you speak to anyone during your visit? ——— did you say absolutely nothing then go straight to the internet? If you had spoken up during your visit we could have moved you to a different table, away from the door, closer to the music in the centre of the atmosphere. I can confirm you & your partner had 7 alcoholic drinks each plus food (which you’ve rated 5/5) for under £45pp which I’d imagine most people would agree is absolutely amazing value for a Saturday in ——— City Centre in 2026.

Thanks for saying the team were largely accommodating. A table by the door in cold weather is a fair complaint — we'd rather move someone than leave them sitting in a draught, and that's worth saying at the counter. The pace and the atmosphere are things we take seriously, even when the picture is a mixed one.
