Ordered jerk vegan and it was literally a bowl of chips with a small amount of chopped mushrooms in some jerk sauce. ——— time was very long, all I can say was staff were very polite and friendly but that’s about it.
How Digbeth cafés answer their Google reviews
In August 2026 we read every reply we could find published by 13 cafés in Digbeth — 294 of them. This page is what we counted. Nothing on it is estimated, and no business is named.
Replies here run longer than the Birmingham median — 28 words against 24. Longer is not better: past a certain point a reply reads as defensive, and the reader stops. 44% of them touch nothing the reviewer actually wrote.

The jerk vegan should be a properly composed dish — the mushrooms aren't a garnish. That said, we're glad the team looked after you whilst you waited, and the kind word about them is appreciated.
